Bismuth What is the story?

 

I am constantly letting people know that Nude by Nature doesn’t contain Bismuth Oxychloride. Why? Because there is so much controversy over the safety of Bismuth.

Bismuth is used in many make-up products and provides “slip” (easy application and slide across the skin). It has a pearlescent glow and creates a glow. It is often is high concentrations in mineral makeups.

There is concern in the beauty world over the chemical process involved in making Bismuth and concerns over it's ability to cause redness, irritation, itchiness, small bumps or pustules, burning or swelling

My view is that if you can easily avoid it..why not?

Nude offers all of its airbrushed, flawless effects without the use of Bismuth!
