Often
we do things because other people are doing them-but sometimes it's
better to go your own way.
Sometimes
we don't feel great and go looking for something to help us feel
good.
Doing
something difficult is like following a mountain path. It may be
harder the higher you go but be persistent and you'll get there in
the end.

Steps to make it easier to Quit
- A date, choose the date you intend to give up smoking on.
- Be strong there are plenty of reasons to quit. All of them are good. If you know what yours are, reminding yourself of them on a daily basis can help you resist the temptation to give up. Write them down so you know them well.
- Formulate a goal. Write it down, tell a friend and know it well. Situations that may be a bit frightening at first often turn out to be fun, if you let them.
- Clean up. Get rid of anything to do with smoking. All the bits and pieces, get rid of them from your life forever. When there is something worthwhile to achieve, it's up to you to work at it- you will be surprised how well you can do.
- How do you know it's time for a cigarette? What are your triggers? How can you adjust your lifestyle and habits to mitigate these triggers? Keep a journal write it down. Never feel that you're not good enough- you already are. Just keep going...
- What can you do instead? Life is full of possibilities Ask yourself what you enjoy doing, then enjoy doing it well.
- Celebrate your wins and reward yourself.
